Handbook is a knowledge base system which allows you to write documentation for your products.
The software allows you to create multiple projects with mutiple categories and sub categories
to keep your articles organized. Accounts can be created so that users can comment or add more
information to an article.
Finding Articles
The search engine that is built into the software allows you to search through all of the projects
or specific projects depending on what you are looking for.
Customization
Handbook uses a basic template system created using HTML and CSS. It is very easy to customize
to fit your needs. The software uses the powerful Smarty Template Engine to create dynamic layouts
for your users. Handbook also supports htaccess to allow cleaner urls for your website.
The software comes with the ability to change or modify the text on every page very easily. Every word on every page, that is not dynamic, is located in simple language files. This allows you to change different statements if you would like to word it different, but it also allows you to completely change the language of the script quite easily.
